Here are a bunch of papier-mache monsters that my students made.

Painting Ceiling Tiles

I've been a member of a community called 1st_year_teachers on livejournal.com since I was a first year teacher. Another member, whyintellectual, is a high school art teacher in Florida. She did this great project where she had students paint ceiling tiles in her classroom. It even got written up in a local paper. I wanted to do it at my school, but couldn't get permission from my administration. Maybe the next school will let me do it.

Walk For Hunger

My high schoolers worked on a community service project, painting signs for Project Bread's Walk for Hunger. There was even an article about it in the local paper!
